For many, this means energy, home and broadband, as well as their mobile service. But more and more UW customers are now taking out insurance products alongside this, simplifying their financial affairs even further.
UW offers customers a range of insurance services, including home insurance and boiler cover. All of which can be added to customers accounts without hassle and included in their regular monthly bill.
UW offers its customers a couple of insurance options. They are:
This is your classic home insurance policy, covering your contents and building. When running a quote, you are able to customise your cover amount so that you are only paying for what you need to cover.
Home emergency cover will supplement your contents insurance. In the event of an unforeseen emergency - such as burst pipes or blocked drains - your emergency cover will pay the cost of call-out fees and repairs to fix the issue.
UW also offers specific cover for your boiler. We know how much of a pain it can be when your boiler breaks down. No heating and no hot water adds up to create a cold house. Boiler Cover gives you peace of mind that if something does happen to your boiler - or other parts of your heating system - you are covered and an engineer will be out to assess the problem and a fix will be covered.
UW also offers customers Bill Protector. For a low cost each month, we will put up to £250 toward your monthly bills should you be left unable to work for any reason.
The UW insurance model is different from traditional insurance providers. We use a panel of insurers and take our customers details to them. We then take the cheapest option from them and offer it to our customers. We repeat this every year, when customers renew, so they can be assured they are getting the best price from our panel.
UW customers can also be sure they are receiving an exemplary service. Our insurance service comes consistently highly rated by Moneyfacts, being awarded a five-star rating for 2021. Both our home insurance cover and home emergency cover was rated five star by Moneyfacts.
