UW today cut the cost of its fixed rate energy tariff to £179 below the price cap
< Back to Newsroom27 July 2023 - Utility Warehouse (UW), the UK’s leading multiservice utility provider, today cut the cost of its fixed rate energy tariff to £179 below the price cap - helping consumers save even more money on their household bills.
For an average household, the price cap is set at £2,074 for the quarter, but UW’s new ‘Fixed Saver 3’ tariff fixes customers' energy prices at an average cost of £1,895 for the next 12 months.
The £179 saving against the price cap means that customers can benefit from the cheapest fixed energy tariff in the UK when they bundle their services with UW.
To sign up to the new tariff, customers need to take energy and replace at least two of their existing mobile, broadband or insurance services with UW’s marketing-leading equivalent services.
Customers who sign up via a UW Partner can also save a further £150 on their bills when they take three or more services.
The new tariff comes as UW this week won Best Value for Money supplier at the Uswitch 2023 Energy Awards.
Stuart Burnett, Co-CEO of Utility Warehouse, said: “As the UK’s “Best Value for Money” energy supplier, we’ve lowered our fixed energy tariff to £179 below the price cap. This is the cheapest fixed tariff in the UK when customers bundle their services with us. With many consumers facing steep increases in the cost-of-living, our new fixed tariff can help households save money and give them peace of mind on their energy bills for the next 12 months.”
UW customer numbers recently broke through the 900,000 mark and the business is on track to welcome an extra million customers over the medium term - reflecting its strong, long-term competitive position.
