24 July 2023 - Utility Warehouse (UW) has won Best Value for Money supplier at the Uswitch 2023 Energy Awards and has also come runner-up in the Best Overall Customer Satisfaction category.
It is the sixth year in a row that UW, the UK’s leading multiservice utility provider, has won at the Uswitch awards. This year’s awards are based on an independent survey of more than 17,500 consumers from across the UK.
The award win follows UW launching the UK’s cheapest fixed price energy tariff, enabling customers to fix their energy at an average cost of £1,974 - £100 below the price cap - giving households peace of mind on their energy bills for the next 12 months.
Stuart Burnett, Co-CEO at Utility Warehouse, said: “We’re delighted that our commitment to deliver value for money for our customers has been recognised in the Uswitch 2023 Energy Awards. As many people continue to face cost-of-living pressures, we’re seeing increasing numbers of customers join Utility Warehouse to take advantage of the cheapest fixed energy deal on the market and great prices on their other essential household services. It’s thanks to our multiservice business model, which enables customers to bundle services together, that we can deliver big savings on their monthly bills, and we look forward to helping many more households over the years ahead.”
To sign up to the new fixed tariff, customers need to take energy and replace at least two of their existing mobile, broadband or insurance services with UW’s marketing-leading equivalent services.
Customers who sign up via a UW Partner can also save a further £150 on their bills when they bundle together three or more services.
The Uswitch award win comes as UW customer numbers recently passed the 900,000 barrier and the business is on track to welcome an extra million customers over the medium term - reflecting UW’s long-term strong competitive position.
