The legal bit

£400 to help you switch - Available when a new customer switches at least three of their services on the same date: energy, broadband, mobile and insurance (insurance means Boiler & Home Cover or Income Protector only). We’ll give credit of up to £400 towards evidenced and qualifying termination fees that are due to current providers. If the agreement with us is terminated within 12 months of sign up, this termination fee credit must be paid back in full. Additional requirements apply to customers who are tenants. Terms apply.

Any equipment must be returned and services used must be paid for before cancelling. Terms apply.

What services do I need to sign up for to qualify for a Boost bonus?

A ‘Service’ is defined as Energy, Broadband, Mobile or Insurance. 

For Insurance, only Boiler & Home Cover and Income Protector are included, Home Insurance and Bill Protector are not included. If you takes Home Insurance or Bill Protector these will not count towards the number of Services you need to get a Boost payment.

Do I need to let you know that I signed up with a UW Partner?

Nope, we track that automatically so you don’t need to worry about it. 

Can I tell my friends about Boost?

Of course! Just pass on the details of the partner who signed you up, or you can check out our refer-a-friend scheme.

When and how will I get the money paid out?

We’ll add your Boost bonus to your second bill as credit. If your bill amount is less than the bonus, we’ll pay the remaining credit into your bank account.

Is Boost available to tenants?

No, Boost is only available to homeowners who sign up via a UW Partner. 

Is Boost available for Prepayment Meter Customers?

Yes. Boost is available for Prepayment Customers.

Is Boost available if I doesn't take Energy as a service?

Yes - you can sign-up to any core services to get the Boost bonus.

"Core services" include Energy, Broadband, Mobile or Insurance (insurance means Boiler & Home Cover or Income Protector only)

What happens if I cancel my services and leaves UW?

Boost is paid on the second bill. If you leave before this, for example, during your cooling off period, or you cancel any of the Services needed to be eligible for Boost, you won’t receive the bonus.

What happens if I only take one service?

You won’t be eligible for Boost.

What happens if I sign-up one service but add a second service later?

You can claim the Boost bonus if you add an additional core service within 42 days (excluding Home Insurance and Bill Protector). Sweet right? 

What happens if I take 2+ services and then cancel one in my cooling off period?

Then you are not eligible for Boost and it will not be paid onto your second bill.

What happens if not all my services are live by the time you send my second bill?

In the unlikely event that this happens, we will retry the Boost bonus payment on your third bill once your services are live.
