UW customers across Great Britain can get a free upgrade to smart meters. When you get a smart meter, you can understand your energy usage and take steps to save money.
The legal bit
* Over 20% of UW customers who switched to a smart meter saved at least 667kWh of electricity per year compared to their own previous year’s usage. This works out to savings of £138 based on the average regional cost of our Green Fixed 14 tariff. Analysis taken in July 2021 against 48,478 customers who made the switch to smart in 2020.
Here are a few of the great benefits you'll enjoy with a free upgrade to smart meters.
We’ll let you know when engineers are available in your area. Then simply follow our booking instructions.
Our expert engineer will visit you on your chosen day. The smart meter installation usually takes around two hours.
You’ll be able to see your energy usage in real time on your free smart meter display.
